1. Introduction

Welcome to Jood. Jood ("we," "us," or "our") is a Saudi Limited Liability Company registered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating under the trade name Jood. We are a pioneer in authentic Saudi coffee experiences, offering our Smart Saudi Coffee machines, premium coffee capsules, subscription services, complementary products, and related services (collectively, the "Services") through our website and mobile application.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website, mobile application, or placing any order. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jood, governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or Services — including placing an order or activating a subscription — you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age or, if a legal entity, are duly authorized to enter into binding agreements;
• Have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy; and
• Agree to comply with all applicable Saudi laws and regulations.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using our Services.

3. Modifications to Terms

Jood reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account, no fewer than 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services — including placing orders, managing subscriptions, and operating your Smart Saudi Coffee machine remotely — you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information;
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials;
• Notify us immediately at support@jood.sa if you suspect unauthorized access to your account; and
• Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.

Jood reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

5. Products and Services

5.1 Smart Saudi Coffee Machines

B2B clients may receive Smart Saudi Coffee machines at no initial cost as part of a capsule supply agreement. B2C customers may purchase machines at the listed retail price. All machines are subject to availability and Jood's technical specifications, which may be updated from time to time. IoT-enabled features, including remote operation via the mobile app, require an active internet connection and a registered Jood account.

5.2 Coffee Capsules

Our premium 25g coffee capsules are available for individual purchase and via subscription. Capsules are formulated using high-quality coffee beans sourced from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Ethiopia, blended with authentic spices. Product descriptions, blends, and availability are subject to change. Limited-edition and seasonal blends may be offered for a limited time only.

5.3 Subscription Services

B2C customers may subscribe to regular capsule deliveries on a monthly or quarterly basis. By subscribing, you authorize Jood to charge your selected payment method at the applicable subscription rate on a recurring basis. You may pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support, subject to the notice periods set out in Section 8 (Cancellations).

5.4 Complementary Products

Jood may also offer premium dates, traditional Saudi sweets, and coffee accessories. These products are subject to separate pricing, availability, and applicable return conditions as stated at the time of purchase.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Prices

All prices displayed on our website and mobile application are in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 15%), in compliance with the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements. Jood reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; however, orders already confirmed will be honored at the price displayed at the time of checkout.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Mada);
• SADAD payment system;
• STC Pay and other approved Saudi digital wallets;
• Buy Now, Pay Later via Tabby and Tamara (subject to their terms and eligibility);
• Bank transfers for B2B clients, on 30-day net terms as agreed.

Cash on delivery is not available. All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. Jood does not store your full card details.

6.3 Order Confirmation

An order confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. This email constitutes Jood's acceptance of your order. Jood reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in cases of pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspected fraud, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

6.4 Invoices

A tax invoice compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing (FATOORAH) requirements will be issued for each transaction and made available in your account and by email.

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Delivery Areas

Jood currently delivers within Saudi Arabia. Delivery to GCC countries and international destinations may be introduced in future phases; availability will be announced on our website.

7.2 Delivery Timeframes

Our target delivery time is 3 hours for orders placed within major Saudi cities (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam). Deliveries to other regions within Saudi Arabia are typically fulfilled within 2 to 5 business days, depending on your location and product availability. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

7.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and delivery location, and will be displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm payment. Jood may offer free shipping promotions from time to time; applicable conditions will be stated on the promotional page.

7.4 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title to products passes to you upon delivery to the specified delivery address. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, our logistics partner will attempt redelivery or leave instructions for collection.

8. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

8.1 Returns Policy

In accordance with the Saudi Consumer Protection Law and its implementing regulations, you may return products within 30 days of receipt, provided that:

• The product is in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging;
• The capsule seal is intact and unbroken;
• Proof of purchase (order confirmation or tax invoice) is provided.

Personalized or custom-ordered products may not be eligible for return unless they are defective.

8.2 Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at support@jood.sa with your order number and photographs of the issue. Jood will arrange for collection and, at your option, provide a replacement or a full refund, at no additional cost to you.

8.3 Machine Warranty

All Smart Saudi Coffee machines come with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase (exceeding the 2-year minimum required under Saudi regulations). The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow the operating instructions. Warranty claims are handled through our dedicated service team; 24/7 support is available via phone, email, and chat.

8.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days of Jood's confirmation of the return. For SADAD and bank transfers, processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

8.5 Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation must be submitted at least 3 days before your next scheduled billing date. Cancellations are effective from the next billing period; no partial refunds are issued for the current billing period unless required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and mobile application — including but not limited to text, images, logos, product designs, software, the Jood brand, and the Smart Saudi Coffee machine design — is the exclusive property of Jood and is protected under the Intellectual Property Laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Trademark Law, Copyright Law, and Patent Law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from our Services without Jood's prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in civil and criminal liability under Saudi law.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with our Smart Saudi Coffee machines or mobile application;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from our website without permission;
• Impersonate Jood, its employees, or other users;
• Post or transmit content that is harmful, defamatory, or in violation of Saudi law or public morals.

Jood reserves the right to terminate your account and pursue legal remedies in the event of any prohibited conduct.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, in compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Saudi law, Jood and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Services or products;
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities;
• Damage caused by third-party delivery providers or payment processors.

Jood's total liability to you for any direct claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law, including the Consumer Protection Law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products are provided to the standard described in their specifications. Our website and mobile application are provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for continuous uptime, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Jood does not make warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms or required by Saudi consumer protection regulations.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall first be referred to Jood's customer support team for resolution. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be referred to the competent courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, or to the Saudi Consumer Protection Authority as appropriate.

You may also submit a complaint to the Ministry of Commerce through the "Marasim" platform or the Consumer Protection Association (CPAR) in Saudi Arabia.

15. Force Majeure

Jood shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, cyberattacks, or disruptions to supply chains or logistics networks. We will notify you as soon as practicable and take reasonable steps to minimize the impact on your orders.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable under Saudi law, that provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
